　子犬が来た時、セレニタは慌てて木に登った。しかしチカはその子犬を抱いて撫でていた。セレニタはそれを見て「まるで猛獣使いだな」と呟いた。セレニタは鳥の巣を見つけるとチカを呼んだ。彼女も木の上に来た。そしてセレニタ彼は「この卵はゆでると旨いぞ」と言った。その時チカが悲鳴をあげた。セレニタが振り向いたら、一羽の鳥が彼女に襲いかかっていた。そこでセレニタは枝を一本折って、鳥と彼女の間に割って入った。すると彼ら二人分の重みで足下の枝が折れて、彼らは落ちた。そこに鳥が襲いかかって来た。セレニタは鳥と戦おうとしたが、チカが彼の腕を掴んで走り始めた。しばらく走ると鳥はついて来なくなった。セレニタは「あんな鳥敵じゃないのに何で逃げなくちゃいけないんだ!」と叫んだ。するとチカは「あの鳥はお母さんでしょ。お母さんが居なくなったら誰が卵を抱くの」と言った。

And El Selenita snapped a branch, and penetrated into between she and the bird. Then a big branch under their feet, got been broken by their weights. And they fell. And the bird came attacking. And El Selenita tried to fight with the bird. Then La Chica Elísea grasped his hand, and ran. They ran for some time, the bird didn't come any further. And El Selenita shouted, “I can defeat the bird! Why must we escape!?” And La Chica Elísea said, “The bird is a mother! If you defeated the mother, then who sit on the egg?”
