私はガンダム王 ・・・だったけど・・・。
ぼくは現在
42歳で、
小学3年の時に、
ガンダムがブームになって、
それから再放送が始まりました。
第一話を見た翌日、
学校の友達に、
ボールみたいなロボットは何なのかを聞いたら、
モビルスーツのボールを描いて持って来た人がいたので、
ぼくが、何やこれはと言ったら、
これボールやと言われました。
ぼくの質問の答えは、ハロが正解です。
しばらくしてから、
ガンプラもブームになって、
何処の店でも売切れていたので、
懸賞で当たった、1/100ガンダムが、初ガンプラです。
それから、クリスマスプレゼントが、
1/60ガンダムでしたけど、
アムロの人形が小さくて、
どんな顔か分からなかったので、
ぼく自身が、ロボットが出る漫画を描く時は、
人とロボットを、同じ画面で、両方見えるように描きたかったので、
ガンダム(18メートル)より小さい、12メートルにしました。
中学2年の時に、Zガンダムが始まって、
3年の時に、ZZが放送されました。
この頃になると、
アニメを見る友達の数は少なくなってました。
高校2年になる時に、
逆襲のシャアが公開された時は、
アニメを見る友達は、もっと少なくなってました。
その頃、ぼくは、
ファーストガンダムと、ZとZZと、逆シャアを全部見ていたので、
一部の人からは、ガンダムと呼ばれてました。
だけど、0083や0080や、F91は見てなくて、
その後のガンダムも、殆ど見てないので、
現在は、ガンダムとは呼ばれないです。
ただ、ターンAガンダムだけは、
第一話を見て気に入って、
そのまま最終回まで見続けて、
映画も二本とも見ました。
ガンダムに綾取りをさせて、
洗濯物を干す場面が好きです。

銀のサークレットをつけた、鳶色の髪の少年 が大蛇に追われて逃げていた。少年の名はエル・セレニタ・デ・サン・アントニオ・ラ・サンタ・クルスといった。彼は十字路を通り過ぎた。その時、脇の道から、クマ並みに大きいナメクジが現れて、ヘビに襲いかかって食べてしまい、そして次にセレニタを追い始めた。セレニタは、それらには全く何も気づかずに逃げ続けた。そして隕石が大ナメクジの上に落ちた。そしてセレニタは、驚いて立ち止まると、不思議そうに振り返った。その時、ペチャンコに潰れた大ナメクジの上に、サッカーボール大の石があった。そして彼は石を拾うと修道院に行った。彼は古い修道院を家にして住んでいた。その修道院は、クリーム色の壁と、黄色い屋根で出来ていて、一つの隅に塔 があった。その塔は、上半分が八角柱で、下半分が四角柱で出来てて、四角柱と八角柱の繋ぎ目に、半分に切った四角錐の屋根が四つあり、八角柱の上には、一つの八角錐の屋根が乗っていた。そして八角柱の部分には、丸い窓が四つあった。数年前に母親が、セレニタに屋根の掃除を頼んだ時、セレニタは、天辺の屋根と四角柱の一部を赤いペンキで塗った。セレニタは、敷地内の畑に、石を隠すと、家に入った。
A boy with auburn hairs, wearing a silver circlette, who was being chased by a big snake, and was escaping. The boy's name was El Selenita De San Antonio La Santa Cruz. He went along a crossroads. Then a big slug as much as bear appeared from the side which he had gone along the crossroads just after that, and attacked at the snake, and ate. And the slug started to chase him next. Then El Selenita continued escaping without completely knowing those. And a meteorite fell onto the slug directly. And El Selenita got been surprised and stopped running and looked back, in wonder. Then a soccer ball sized stone existed on the big slug who had been destroyed flattly. And he picked up the stone, and went to a convent. He was living with an old closed convent as his house. The convent consists of cream colored walls and yellow roofs. And it has a tower in one cornar of its cornars. It consists of an octagonal prism that is the upper half part, and a square prism that is the lower half part. And the junction of the octagonal prism and the square prism has four roofs those are half cut square pyramids. And an octagonal pyramid exists on the top of the octagonal prism. And the octagonal prism has four circular windows. Few years ago, his mother had asked El Selenita for cleaning of the roofs when, he had painted a part of the square prism wall and the octagonal pryramid roof with red paint. And he hid the stone into the field of the garden, and entered into the convent.
「イノゴ8世」という作品は、ぼくの漫画の中で初めてストーリーらしいストーリーを持った作品です。学校でローマ字を習った時は全く理解出来ませんでしたが、テレビで「伝説巨人イデオン」という番組を見ててCMになった瞬間に読めるようになり、その時たまたまスペイン語の辞書や教科書が、家に有りました。それで登場人物にスペイン語の名前をつけて漫画を描き始めました。セレニタ(Selenita)とはスペイン語で「月の住民」という意味です。「バビル2世」という漫画は割と好きなんですが、ぼくが真似をするには男っぽ過ぎるので、もう少し可愛く描き直そうと思ってました。大抵のヒーロー達は、余りにも男らし過ぎて、とても真似が出来ませんでした。

セレニタは彼の母マリア に「ママ。ぼく麦の刈り入れをするよ」と言った。するとマリアは「貧しい人が取れるように、隅の麦は残しておきなさい」と言った。セレニタは収穫を始め、隙を見て石を部屋に持ち込んだ。収穫が終わると、セレニタは部屋に戻って来て、金槌で石を叩き壊した。すると、石から冬眠したカエルが出て来た。そして、彼はインスタントラーメンを持って「ヌイユ!」と言ってドンブリに入れると、次に「グルヌイユ!」と言ってカエルも入れて、お湯を入れて待ち始めた。そして3分後、カエルは冬眠から覚めて「熱ちちち!」と叫んでドンブリから飛び出した。そしてカエルはセレニタの銀のサークレットを見ると、二本足で立ち上がってお辞儀をして「我らの王子イノゴ8世様」と言った。さらにカエルは言った。「私はあなたのしもべのカエサルと申します。あと二人のしもべもおります。彼らはヘビのプトレマイオスとナメクジのセレウコスでございます。」
And El Selenita said to his mother María , “Mamma. Shall I harvest wheat?” And María said, “You reap the harvest when, you shan't be so thorough that you reap the field to its very edge. Those things you shall leave for the poor and the alien.” And El Selenita began a crop of wheat, and found a chance, and brought the stone into his room. The crop got been over when, he came back to his room, and swatted the stone with a hammer, and broke it. Then a frog that was hibernated, came out from the stone. And he said to himself, “NOUILLE!” , and did put instant noodles into a china bowl, and said to himself, “GRENOUILLE!” , and did put the frog into the china bowl too, and poured hot water, and started to wait. And three minutes later, the frog came out of hibernation, and shouted, “Oh hot!” , and jumped out the china bowl. And the frog saw El Selenita's silver circlet, and stood in two legs, and suitable for him towards him said, “Our prince Inogo VIII.” , and bowed. Furthermore the frog said, “I am Cæsar of a servant for you. Your rest servants exist too. They are Ptolemy the big snake, and Seleucus the big slug.”
当初はバビル2世の真似をして、喋る黒猫を僕にする予定でしたが、石を叩く絵を描いてる途中で、隕石から冬眠中の宇宙ガエルが出るなんて事を思いついてカエルを描いてしまいました。カエルに名前をつける時、アンティゴノスを忘れてて、カエサルと名付けました。カエサルはスペイン語ではCésarと書いてセサルと読むべきですが、カエルのカエサルという言い方が気に入ってたし、宇宙ガエルですので外人みたいな名前でもいいだろうと思ってカエサルのままにしました。ちなみに日本語の漫画では、単にカエルをドンブリに入れてお湯を入れて3分待つだけですが、家にフランス語の辞書があったので、同級生がフランス語を習い始めて以来、ウケを狙って、作品中に、時々フランス語の駄洒落や、変な文章を書くようになりまはした。ラーメンはフランス語でヌイユ(nouille)であり、カエルはグルヌイユ(grenouille)ですから、英訳する際に、ヌイユとグルヌイユを引っ掛けた駄洒落を言わせました。

セレニタはその話を信じられないでいた。そしてカエサルは言った。「あなたの本当の名前はイノゴ・マトゥサレン・ペドロファウノ8世でいらっしゃいます。イノゴ・アダン・エピメテオ1世はイノゴ・セット・フォロネオ2世を産んで、イノゴ2世はイノゴ・エノス・メランポ3世を産んで、イノゴ3世はイノゴ・カイナン・フィレモン4世を産んで、イノゴ4 世はイノゴ・メレレエル・カドモ5世を産んで、イノゴ5世はイノゴ・ハレッド・べレロフォンテ6世を産んで、イノゴ6世はイノゴ・エノック・ガニメデス7世を産みました。そしてイノゴ7世があなたの父でございます。我々の祖国が滅ぼされた時、あなたの父は我々を空に逃がしました。」
セレニタは「おじいちゃんのホアキンはお婆ちゃんのアナと一緒にママのマリアを産んで、マリアはぼくを産んだ。だけどぼくにはパパがいない・・・」と言うと、マリアの部屋に行った。その時マリアはイチジクの皮を剥いて串に刺していた。彼女は彼に「あなたの好きな干しイチジクになるのよ」と言った。セレニタは「ぼくは本当の子供なの」と言った。するとマリアは「9年前に月から赤ちゃんが落ちてきたのよ。それでエル・セレニタと名前を付けたの。それがあなたよ」と言った。それはスペイン語で、月世界人という意味であった。ホアキンとアナには、マリアという娘がいた。マリアが成人すると、二人は廃屋となった修道院を買い取って、マリアに住処として与えた。マリアが一人暮らしに慣れた頃、6月25日に、月から赤ん坊が、流れ星になって落ちて来た。その赤ん坊は銀のサークレットをつけていた。マリアは赤ん坊に、エル・セレニタと名前をつけた。
El Selenita was being doubting the truth of the story. And Cæsar said, “Your true name is Inogo Matusalén Pedrofauno VIII. Inogo Adán Epimeteo I became the father of Inogo Set Foroneo II, Inogo II the father of Inogo Enós Melampo III, Inogo III the father of Inogo Cainán Filemón IV, Inogo IV the father of Inogo Meleleel Cadmo V, Inogo V the father of Inogo Járed Belerofonte VI, InogoVI the father of Inogo Henoc Ganimedes VII, And Inogo VII is your father. Our homeland country got been destroyed when, your father made us go escaping into the sky.” And El Selenita said, “My grandfather Joaquín begot my mother María by my grandmother Ana, and María bore me. But ...I haven't father!” And he went to María's room. Then María was peeling figs, and was spitting. She said to him, “Those will become your favorite dry figs.” El Selenita said, “Mamma. Am I your true son?” And María said, “Nine years ago, a baby came falling from the Moon. And I named it El Selenita who is you.” That was the Spanish for The Selenite. Joaquín and Ana had a daughter María. María attained womanhood when, they bought an old monastery, and gave her it as a dwelling. María got used to living alone when, at the twenty fifth day of June, a baby came falling as a shooting star. That baby wears a silver sirclet. And María named the baby, El Selenita.
これはイノゴの系図ですが、セカンドネームは聖書の人物の、アダムからメトセラまでのスペイン語形。そしてサードネームはギリシア神話で似た伝説のある人達の名前のスペイン語形です。ペドロファウノはピーターパンを無理矢理スペイン語にしました。メトセラというのは、外国の昔話の登場人物で、フルネームをメトセラ・エテ・ハマブル・マイム・アル・ハアレズ・プロス・ヤテ・スメ・カデマイ・ウサプ・ヤテ・ワウ・ベン・メム・ウタウといいます。フロス・ヤテ・スメ・カデマイはアラム語で「最初の名前を分けろ」、ウサフ・ヤテ・ワウ・ベン・メム・ウタウはアラム語で「ワウをメムとタウの間に入れろ」という意味です。その通りにするとモト・サラ・エテ・ハマブル・マイム・ガル・ハアレズ(彼の死が地上に洪水をもたらす)というヘブライ語の文が出来ます。神様は、メトセラに不老を与えたが不死は与えず、人の善行が彼の薬になって人の悪行が彼の病になるようにして、彼が死ぬと洪水が起こるようにしました。結局人々の罪が積み重なって天にまで届いてしまってメトセラは死に、洪水が起こりますが、彼の孫のノアは船に乗って生き残ります。マトゥサレンとはこのメトセラのスペイン語形です。

その夜、黒ずくめの男 がセレニタの家の前に来た。外から手が届く範囲内の麦がそのままだったので、男は麦を引き抜いて囓った。そして少し離れた所にある配水管の中に入って寝た。
セレニタの家の近くの天文台 に、アルベルシアノという名の天文学者がいた。彼がプレイアデス星団を見た時、それは赤くなっていた。彼は言った。「9年前、379.27光年離れた5.13等の原アステローペが分裂して、386.91光年離れた5.76等のアステローペIと、354.14光年離れた6.43等のアステローペIIになった。赤く変わったのはその分裂 と関係あるのか?」
At that night, a man who was full of black came to front of El Selenita's house. Then wheat of the range which a hand reaches from the outside that was untouched at all, therefore the man in black pulled the wheat, and bit. And he entered into a drainpipe at some distance from there, and slept.
An astronomer existed at an observatory in El Selenita's neighborhood. His name was El Alberciano. He saw the Pleiades when, those had turned color into red. And he said, “Nine years ago, one Pleiad Primitive Asterope the 5 point 13rd-magnitude star that was 379 point 27 light years distant that divided into two stars those are Asterope I the 5 point 76th-magnitude star that is 386 point 91 light years distant, and Asterope II the 6 point 43rd-magnitude star that is 354 point 14 light years distant. Is the change of red related to the division ?”
日本語の漫画では、単に明るかった原アステローペが二つの暗い星に分裂しただけという描写です。一つの恒星が二つに分裂する現象は有り得ませんので、英訳する際に、星の材質が光る水銀の様な物と仮定して、物理シミュレーションソフトにアステローペIの等級と距離と、アステローペIIの等級と距離を入力してそれぞれの質量を求め、それらを合計して原アステローペの質量としました。次に、原アステローペがはじけて欠片がそれぞれアステローペIとアステローペIIの位置に来る場所を何度もシミュレートし直して探しました。そして最後にその距離と質量を入力して等級を求めました。また、アルベルシアノとはスペイン語で「小惑星アルベルト人」という意味です。日本語の漫画では特に名前はありません。

セレニタはバス停でバスを待っていた。しかしバスがなかなか来ないので、彼はいらいらしていた。その時突然、世界中が赤くなった。そして次の瞬間、彼はベットの中にいた。それは夢であった。それからセレニタは家を出た。その時、昨日の黒服の男が彼の財布をひったくってそれを開けた。すると財布からカエルのカエサルが跳び出して黒服の男に噛み付き、セレニタの所に戻って行った。黒服の男は「おのれカエルに歯は無いはずだ!」と罵った。カエサルが跳ぶ時、目がアンテナの様に飛び出す ので、黒服の男は驚いて思った。あのカエルは見た事がある。そしてあの少年は誰かに似ている。そしてあの銀のサークレットは…。その時彼は驚いて叫んだ。「彼はイノゴ8世だ!」と。そして彼は財布から金を取らずにセレニタの足元に投げて隠れた。セレ二タがその財布を拾うと、黒服の男はセレニタの後を追い始めた。そしてセレニタは学校に行った。
Then El Selenita was waiting for a bus, in a bus stop. But the bus didn't come. That was why he got been so irritated. Then the world turned color into red immediately. And he was lying in his bed immediately, at the next moment. That was a dream. And El Selenita went out the house. Then the man in black snatched his purse, and opened it. Then Cæsar the frog jumped out, and bit him in his hand, and went back to El Selenita. The man in black abused, “Wow! Frog can't have teeth!” Cæsar jumps when, his eyes stick out like antennæ . And the man in black got been surprised and said to himself, “I have ever seen the frog. The boy is like someone. The silver circlet is...” Then he got been amazed and shouted, “He is Inogo VIII. I am positive that it is so.” And he didn't take moneys from the wallet, and threw it at El Selenita's feet, and hid himself. El Selenita picked up the wallet. And the man in black started to follow them. And El Selenita went to school.

図工の時間に、カエサルが「何か乗り物を作ればいい」と言った。するとセレ二タは「装甲材質はルナ・チタニウムにしよう」と言った。カエサルが「何だそれは」と言うと、セレ二タは「ルナ・チタニウムとは、ガンダムの装甲材質で、チタンとアルミと白金と希土類元素から出来てるんだ」と言った。するとカエサルは「白金イットリウム含有ハイパーチタン合金・超々ジュラルミン合金クラッド材で作れば良いかな。ハイパーチタン合金はチタン77パーセントと、モリブデン15パーセントと、ジルコニウム5パーセントと、アルミ3パーセントで出来てて、チタン合金の中で一番丈夫なんだ。白金を少し入れると錆びにくくなって、イットリウムを少し入れると熱に強くなるんだ。そして超々ジュラルミン合金は、最強のアルミ合金なんだ」と言った。セレ二タは「それだ!」と言って、工具を持った。そこでセレ二タは、白金イットリウム含有ハイパーチタン合金・超々ジュラルミン合金クラッド材で、全長4.8メートルで、0.8トンのオタマジャクシ型の飛行機を作り始めた。セレニタが「ママは鉛は毒なので使っちゃ駄目と言って、ぼくに無鉛はんだを買ってくれてたんだよ。無鉛はんだってどうやって作るの｣と言うと、カエサルは、無鉛はんだの作り方を教えた。セレニタは、椅子を作りながら、カエサルに「ぼくは身長が132センチで体重は31キロだよ」と言った。するとカエサルは、座面の高さは29センチで、肘かけの高さは49センチで、背もたれの高さは110センチで、幅は36センチで、奥行きは30センチがいい」と言った。飛行機が完成すると、レナクァホ と名付けた。セレニタはレナクァホを黒と白で塗ろうとしたが、学校の先生が「ピンクのペンキが沢山余っているからピンクにしなさい」と言ったので、ピンクに塗った。操縦室は、半径62センチ、高さ99センチの円柱形の空間であった。セレニタが、空間拡張機のスイッチを入れたら、操縦室の壁が透明になって、その外に、虚像の空間が広がるように見えた。それは、斜方立方八面体の空間であり、床以外の面は、17枚の正方形のスクリーンと、8枚の正三角形のスクリーンで出来ていた。それらはどちらも一辺が75センチであった。それは、虚構の空間であるので、円筒形の空間の境界は、ガラスの壁のように見えた。椅子の右に箱が設置されていて、その箱には、フロッピードライブと、操縦桿がついており、更にその操縦桿には4つのスイッチがついていた。椅子の左にはスロットルが設置されていて、そのスロットルにも4つのスイッチがあった。どちらも取っ手の高さは49センチであった。そして椅子の前にはペダルが2つあった。その時カエサルは「こんなのは地球の技術じゃ動かせないから、トランスミューターを作れ」と言った。セレ二タが「何それ」と言うと、カエサルは「トランスミューターには四つの機能があるんだよ。第一の機能は原子を組み替えて、水分子一つと、酸素原子一つと水素原子二つの相互変換をしたり、二酸化炭素分子一つと、酸素原子二つと炭素原子一つの相互変換をするんだ。第二の機能は核子を組み替える事によって、ヘリウム一つと、重水素二つの相互変換が出来るんだよ。第三の機能は、陰電子崩壊と電子捕獲を人工的に起こす事によって、陽子一つと電子一つと125.34フェムトジュールのエネルギーと、その時409ゼプトジュールのエネルギーを反電子ニュートリノに変換して、固定して中性子にしたり、逆に中性子を陽子と電子と125.34フェムトジュールのエネルギーに変換するが、その時発生する反電子ニュートリノは409ゼプトジュールのエネルギーに変換して再利用する。そして第四の機能は、物質とエネルギーの相互変換が出来るんだよ。インテークは、空気を吸って、トランスミューターで最密縮退水銀-204に変換してタンクに貯めて、エンジンは、トランスミューターで最密縮退水銀-204をエネルギーに変換して、ロケットは、トランスミューターで最密縮退水銀-204を、灼熱の液体水素と液体酸素に変換する。普通の水銀は、一立方センチメートルあたり13.534グラムで、普通の水銀-204は一立方センチメートルあたり13.830グラムだが、最密縮退水銀-204は一立方センチメートルあたり1361.341トンだ。重たいから、タンクは重力遮断材で作らなきゃ駄目だ。それから外に出ると、膨らんで普通の水銀-204になってしまうんだ」と言った。セレニタは「ママが言ってたけど、水銀も毒だったよね」と言った。するとカエサルは「それなら代わりに水を使うといい。最密縮退水-1-1-16は一立方センチメートルあたり961.887トンだ」と言った。セレ二タはトランスミューターを、インテークとエンジンとロケットに組み込むと、レナクァホに乗り込んだ。その時、椅子の背もたれの両側についてる、鏡のついた棒が横に起き上がって、前方に回って、バックミラーになった。同時に、椅子の右側の箱についてた板が上にスライドして内側に倒れて、高さ55センチの所で止まってトレーのような形のスクリーンになり、真下の様子が映し出された。それは一辺が30センチの正方形であった。するとカエサルが「プトレマイオスとセレウコスを探しに行こう」と言った。そしてセレニタが操縦し始めると、レナクァホが学校の屋根を突き破って飛び立った。
暫くして、セレニタは空を飛ぶ物体 を見つけて「日本の照る照る坊主ってやつじゃないのか」と言った。その時、その飛行物体がふり向いた。するとセレニタは大笑いして「ぎゃはははユル・ブリナーだ! ママはユル・ブリナーとチャールトン・ヘストンのファンなんで十戒という映画がテレビで放送されるたびに見てるんだよ」と言った。その時カエサルが、それを見ながら「あれはヘリオスだ。あれが逆様になったら雨が降るんだ」と言った。その時ヘリオスが傾き始めた。するとセレニタはレナクァホを操作して、ヘリオスに向けてミサイルを発射させた。そのミサイルの弾頭は、陽電子を封じたカプセルであった。こうしてレナクァホはヘリオスを撃ち落とした。カエサルは「奴らの装甲はウルトラハイテン鋼・超硬スチロール樹脂合板製だから、地球上の武器では傷一つつけられないのだ。我々だけが戦えるんだ。これからもっと強い敵が現れるかも知れないからもっと強い武器を作っておいた方がいい。まあ、ハイパーチタンならウルトラハイテンには負けないだろう」と言った。セレニタはレナクァホを着陸させると、降りて、21.7トンのブストと、23.7トンのガルバニを作り始めた。
In time of arts and crafts, Cæsar said, “Please make a somthing to be our vihicle.” Then El Selenita said, “That material of the armor is Luna Titanium alloy!” And then Cæsar said, “Is it what?” And El Selenita said, “The luna titanium alloy is the quality of the material of Gundam that consists of titanium and aluminum and rear earth elements.” Gundam enters in an animation. And Cæsar said, “I guess it verges on that you make with Platinum and Yttrium-contained Hyper Titanium alloy/Extra Suer Duralumin alloy Clad metal. Hyper Titanium alloy consists of 77 percent titanium and 15 percent molibden and 5 percent zirconium and 3 percent aluminum. It is strongest in titanium alloys. Platinum-contained titanium alloys are hard to get rusty. And Yttrium-contained titanium alloys are heat-resistant. And Extra Super Duralumin alloy is the strongest in aluminum alloys.” Then El Selenita shouted for joy, “That's it!” , and took out tools, and started to fabricate a tadpole shaped airplane that has a total length of 4 point 70 meters, and weighs 0 point 7 metric tons with Platinum and Yttrium-contained Hyper Titanium alloy/Extra Super Duralumin alloy Clad metals. El Selenita said, “Mamma said that Lead is poison, therefore don't use it. And she gets for me lead-free solder. Tell me how to make lead-free solder.” And Cæsar told him how to make it. He said to Cæsar while making a chaor, “I am 132 centimeters tall, and I weigh 31 kilograms.” And Cæsar said, “This is how build the chair: its height of seat is 29 centimeters, the height of armrest 49 is centimeters, the height of back height is 110 centimeters, its width is 36 centimeters, and its depth is 30 centimeters.” El Selenita completed to fabrcate, and named El Renacuajo . And El Selenita tried to paint El Renacuajo black and white. But then a teacher in the school said, “Pink paint is left over a lot, therefore paint it pink please.” The cockpit is a columnar space that is 99 centimeters in heigh with the radius of 62 centimeters. El Selenita switched on a spatial dilator. Then the walls of the cockpit cleared, and showed an image that a new space appears and spreads, on the outside. The false space is a rhombicuboctahedral space, the surfaces of the walls and the ceil consist of 17 square screens and 8 equilateral triangles screens, except for the floor. The sides of the floor and the squares and the triangles are 75 centimeters. It was a fictional pace. And the boundary of the columnar space looked like a wall of glass. 日本語版ではブストとガルバニがいつ作られて、普段どこにいるかが全く不明ですので、英訳する際にヘリオスとの戦いを書き足しました。ブストとはスペイン語で「胸像」という意味です。そしてガルバニはイタリアの物理学者、生理学者でカエルの脚に電線をつないで動かした人です。セレ二タが作った3つのメカの重量が、オリジナルと違ってますけど、詳しい説明は、第10話の解説に書いてます。はてなで質問をした後、装甲材質と、エネルギーについての話を書き足しました。白金イットリウム含有ハイパーチタン合金・超々ジュラルミン合金クラッド材というのは、機動戦士ガンダムの主役メカの、ガンダムの装甲材質がルナ・チタニウムだというのがモデルです。ルナ・チタニウムは、チタンにアルミと白金と希土類元素を混ぜて作るという設定です。日本語の漫画では、ラナの装甲材質は、ポジトロニューム合金化ルナ・チタニウムという設定です。英訳する際に、ルナ・チタニウムの作り方を調べて、実在するチタン合金で、ルナ・チタニウムに似ているのを探しました。そして、ゴルフクラブのカタログで最強と書かれているハイパーチタン合金(成分：Ti-15Mo-5Zr-3Al、引張強度：1470MPa、比重：5.01g/cm3)と、ハイパーチタン合金より軽くて丈夫で安価なLCBチタン合金(Ti-6.8Mo-4.5Fe-1.5Al、1546MPa、4.81g/cm3)と、ハイパーチタン合金より安いけど強度が弱いベータCチタン合金(Ti-8V-6Cr-4Mo-4Zr-3Al、1440MPa、4.82g/cm3)を見つけました。ベータCチタン合金は14話で使って、LCBチタン合金は24話で使っています。ポジトロニューム合金とは、通常の金属に、非常に高い圧力をかける事によって、凄まじく丈夫になって、自己修復機能も備わった金属です。ちなみに、実際のポジトロニュームは、電子と陽電子が互いに回り合って形作る擬似原子で、水素の1837倍軽い気体で、固まらないし空気中には存在出来ません。操縦席は、ゴッドマーズと飛行機を合体させました。操縦桿とスロットルと2つのペダルは飛行機で、スクリーンはゴッドマーズのスクリーンを、ぼくの独断で勝手に拡張しました。ゴッドマーズは、正面と斜め上と斜め右と斜め左の、4枚のスクリーンがありますけど、見える範囲が狭いと思って、前の機械をどけて、スクリーンの数を増やして、スネークキューブみたいにしました。操縦桿とスロットルの、4つずつのボタンと、フロッピードライブは、2012年3月に付け足しました。これらは装甲騎兵ボトムズというアニメに登場するロボットの真似です。敵の装甲材質が、最圧縮ウルトラハイテン鋼・超硬スチロール樹脂合板で出来てるというのは、機動戦士ガンダムに登場する、敵メカのザクの超硬スチール合金がモデルです。最密縮退水銀-204の密度を求める時は、(原子量÷原子番号)×533.928571428＝トン数という式を使いました。この533.928571428という数字は、鉄が電子捕獲をし始めて、中性子化する時の密度が、一立方センチメートルあたり1148.664トン前後であることから求めた定数です。エネルギー源については、これまたゴットマーズの反陽子エネルギーの真似をして、最密縮退水銀-204をトランスミューターでエネルギーに変換するという設定にしました。その後、水銀が毒なので、最密縮退水-1-1-16という設定に変えました。水の分子量を18で割って、533.928571428を掛けて、961.887トンという答えを出しました。
