　ある夜、天文学者のアルベルシアノは、プレイアデス星団が赤くなったのではなく、その方向から赤い彗星が接近して来ているという事に気が付いた。そして言った。「あれは火の赤さではない。血の赤さだ。」
　翌朝、セレニタは洗濯をした。それから「レナクァホー!」と叫んで崖から跳び降りた。するとレナクァホが飛んで来てハッチを開いて、彼の下で減速した。そしてセレニタは操縦席の中に着地すると「ラナー!」と叫んだ。するとレナクァホはウエボに変形して、ブストとガルバニと合体してラナになった。セレニタはラナに綾取りをさせた。そしてラナのハッチが開くと、操縦席が迫り出して吊り下がり始めた。セレニタは飛び降りて着地すると、吊り下がって来た操縦席の下敷きになった。彼は這い出して、洗濯物を干した。その時空中に貝が現れた。貝は洗濯物の上に水を吹き出した。その時セレニタが操縦席に座り、操縦室が吊り上がって、ラナの胴の中に引っ込むと、ハッチが閉じた。カエサルが「あの貝はトリトンだ。あの殻は固いので中身を攻撃しないと駄目だ」と言った。セレニタが「バルカァーン!」と叫んで、ラナがバルカン砲を撃つと同時にトリトンは殻を閉じて、全くびくともしなかった。トリトンは殻を開いてラナに水をかけ始めた。ラナは走って逃げると洗濯物を岩の上に置いて振り返った。そしてセレニタが「エクステンドー!」と叫んで、ラナがヒート・エクステンドを取り出すとトリトンに跳びかかって斬ろうとしたが、トリトンは殻を閉じた。そしてトリトンは再び殻を開いてラナに水をかけようとした。セレニタは「金平糖ー!」と叫んだ。するとラナがハンマーを持っていた。そのハンマーの鉄球は、18個の球面正方形と、8個の球面正三角形から出来ていた。一辺の長さは41度52分55.34秒であり、球面正方形の角は98度25分15.82秒であり、球面正三角形の角は64度44分12.57秒であった。そして、それが斜方立方八面体であった場合に頂点となる部分に23個のヒート・スパイクと1本の鎖が付いていて、その鎖は反対側に取っ手が付いていた。そして正方形の中心となる部分には18個のロケットが付いていて、正三角形の中心となる部分に8個のカメラが付いていた。それはカメラが敵を見つけた時に、敵と反対側のロケットを噴射させて、敵めがけて飛ぶ。ラナはハンマーを振り回して、トリトンに向けて飛ばした。すると鉄球のヒート・スパイクが発熱して光り、ロケットを噴射してトリトンめがけて飛んで全速力で当たった。しかしトリトンにはダメージが無かった。その時ネヌファルがトリトンに突っ込んだ。トリトンは急いで閉じようとしたが、ネヌファルが殻に挟まった。そしてエンディミオンは「ネヌファルごと撃て! あの赤い彗星は進路上の星をことごとく征服していたんだ! 9年前にも我々のプレイアデス星団を滅ぼし、そして今地球を侵略しようとしている!」と叫ぶとネヌファルから飛び降りた。そしてセレニタはラナに、ネヌファルをビーム・ライフルで撃たせた。するとネヌファルが爆発し、トリトンは燃え上がって地上に落ちた。
