短編

　猟師がライフルを発射した。すると一匹の狼が死んだ。それから猟師はその狼を彼の家に運んで行った。狼にはラウヴァードという名の子供がいた。ラウヴァードは「ぼくはお父さんの敵を討ちたい。ぼくを人間の姿に変えて下さい」と月に願った。するとラウヴァードは人間の少年に変身した。そして彼は猟師の家に行くと、ドアをノックした。すると一人の少女が戸を開けて「どなたですか。私はセレナ」と言った。彼は「ぼくはラウヴァードだ」と言った。すると彼女は彼を夕食に招いた。彼は「君のお父さんはどこにいるの」と言った。彼女は「パパはまだ帰ってないわ。ちょっと待っててね。胡椒を取って来るわ」と言って、胡椒を取りに行った。その時、月が雲の向こうに消えた。同時に彼は狼の姿に戻ってしまったので、慌てて外に出た。それからセレナがそこに戻って来た。そして猟師もそこに来た。セレナは回りを見回したが、そこには誰もいなかった。そして少女は猟師に「パパ。今誰かに会った?」と言った。すると猟師は「いや、会わなかった」と言った。　次の満月の日に再びラウヴァードが来た。セレナは「あら、久しぶりね。あの時はどうして帰っちゃったの」と言った。ラウヴァードは「ママが外食しちゃ駄目って言ってるからだ」と言った。その時、月が雲の向こうに消えてしまい、彼は狼の姿に戻った。するとセレナはそれを見て大笑いした。その時猟師がそこに来た。すると彼女は猟師に「見て! 今男の子が子犬になったのよ」と言って、当たりを見回したが、そこには誰もいなかった。すると猟師は笑って「夢でも見てたんだろう。寝なさい。そして夢の続きを見るといい」と言った。　その翌日、セレナが家から出た時、数人の少年達が彼女の前に立ち塞がって、玩具のヘビを見せた。その時、小さい狼が現れて、少年達に近付いて唸った。すると少年達は逃げて行った。セレナは家に入ると猟師に「パパ! 小犬を連れて来たの! 家で犬飼える?」と言った。すると猟師は「どこに犬がいるんだい?」と言った。彼女が見回すと、その狼の子供はいなかった。　ある夜、猟師の兄弟がその猟師の家に来た。そしてその翌朝、狼の姿のラウヴァードが猟師の家の前に来た。そして彼は考えてた。「最初の部屋はダイニングルームだ。二番目の部屋は女の子の寝室だ。三番目の部屋は猟師の寝室だ。そして・・・。」　その時猟師の兄弟が家から出て来た。同時にラウヴァードは隠れた。そして再び姿を現すと「あの猟師は今鉄砲を持ってないな」と思って、尾行し始めた。その時、猟師が窓からラウヴァードを撃った。 その夜、狼の子供は少年の姿になった。セレナは彼を見つけると「これ私の友達よ!」と叫んだ。すると猟師は驚いて「人間だったのか!」と言った。その翌日、彼らは墓を建てた。
A hunter fired a rifle. Then a wolf got been killed. And the hunter carried the wolf to his house. The wolf had a son whose name was Louvard. Louvard prayed to the Moon, “I wish to avenge my father's death. Metamorphose me into a human.” And Louvard metamorphosed into a boy. And he went to the hunter's house, and knocked the door. And a girl opened the door, and said, “What is your name? I am Selena.” And he said, “I am Louvard.” And she called in him, and gave a dinner. And he said, “Where exists your father?” And she said, “He hasn't come yet. Wait a minute. I'm going to fetch pepper.” , and went to search for pepper. Then the Moon disappeared behind the clouds. And he returned into a little wolf, at the same time. That was why he went out in a fluster. And she came back to there. And the hunter came too. She looked around. Then nobody existed. And she said to the hunter, “Papa! Do you get met someone?” And he said, “No. I don't.”
At the day of the next full moon, the boy came again. Selena said, “Hi there! I haven't seen you for a long time. Why did you go back?” And he said, “Because mama says that Don't eat out.” Then the Moon disappeared behind the clouds. And he returned into the little wolf. Then Selena saw that, and laughed. And the hunter came to there. And she said to the hunter, “Look! A boy gets metamorphosed into a puppy now!” , and looked around. But then, nobody existed in the room. And he smiled and said, “Perhaps you get seen a dream. Sleep, and see a sequel to the dream.”

At the next day, Selena went out when, bad boys blocked her way, and showed a toy snake. Then the little wolf appeared and approached against the boys, and snarled. And the boys escaped. And Selena entered into her house when, she said to the hunter, “Papa! I get come with a puppy! Can we keep the dog?” And he said, “Where exists the dog?” And she looked around. But the little wolf didn't exist.
One night, the hunter's brother came into the house. And the next morning, Louvard the little wolf came at front of the hunter's house. And he thought, “The first room is a dining room. The second room is the girl's bedroom. The thied room is the hunter's bedroom. And...” Then the hunter's brother came out. And Louvard hid, at the same time. And he appeared again, and thought, “The hunter hasn't a rifle at now.” , and started to follow him. Then the hunter shot Louvard from the window.
At that night, the little wolf metamorphosed into a boy. And Selena found him, and cried, “He is my friend!” Then the hunter got been surprised and said, “He was a man!” And at the next day, they made a tomb.

　これはドラゴンボールという漫画に男狼が出て来た時に、冗談で描いた短編です。ラウヴァードというのはフランス語のlouvard(ルーヴァール「狼の子供」)という単語の英語読みです。また、セレナというのは、ギリシャ語のSelēnē(月)から作りました。ぼくの漫画のヒロインは、水色でウエーブのかかった短い髪が多いですけど、そういう髪の男の子を描いたのは、この作品が初めてです。
